After all these years, the three beasts had gathered again. It had been a long time since they were reborn from the ashes inside the burned tower, and they had sworn to never meet again where humans could find them. And yet, here they were. On a plain field out in the open wilds.

The Thunder Pokémon carried the storm. When lightning struck the earth, it appeared with the rolling thunder that followed. Next was the Volcano Pokémon. Earth erupted and out of the searing depths, the majestic beast ascended. A strong wind from the north gave notice about the arrival of the Aurora Pokémon that stepped onto the field fleet-footed.

The three examined at each other, finally reunited. Unfortunately it wasn’t a happy reunion. They all had sensed a menacing presence, a presence that they couldn’t track down on their own. And now, even with their combined forces, it seemed impossible for them to locate the source of the presence which could harm and alter nature drastically. Their power didn’t suffice. But their former savior would know what to do. And so they lifted their heads and howled at the sky in unison.

At first, it seemed like nothing happened. But the longer their combined howling went on, the more the clouds cleared off, until a silhouette was visible in front of the sun. The silhouette spread its wings and a rainbow began to span across the field. They had summoned their master. No doubt that the Rainbow Pokémon would succeed where the three of them had failed. But the beasts’ job here was done. The three shared one final look, and they knew it would be the last one for a long time. Then each of them disappeared the way they came. A lightning bolt hit Raikou, and it was gone in an instant. The earth tore apart and Entei jumped back into the depths. And with a whisper of the north wind, Suicune disappeared again.

Ho-Oh felt the menacing presence even more than its three protégées had done. With a caw, the Rainbow Pokémon made its appearance known across the land. Now it had to find the source of the presence and prevent it from becoming a serious threat. What could possibly go wrong?

Ho-oh is now available as a prize for winning Guess the Number. But choose wisely, the toughest players will be rewarded.

Guess the Number has been changed so that you should now only be able to receive up to 5 regular Ho-oh and up to 2 shiny Ho-oh. This includes anything you won before the limit was introduced.
