wow, amazing stuff, like it, thanks a bunch. especially like the idea you can now do something with your spare pokemon. would also like to have the option for selecting more than just one.

is it possible an adoption from the prizecorner will turn shiny or are they shinylocked?

Oh no ... to be honest I never liked the old trading corner (was it called like that?) where you put pokemon in to collect points you could then redeem for other pokemon. And the Transfer Station sounds a lot like that :/ I don't know, I just hate the idea of having to "burn" a lot of pokemon to buy something else. Especially if it is stuff you can only get there.
But since everyone else seems to be happy with it it's probably something that just bothers me personaly.

Anyway, the rest of the update sounds great! For some reason I would have never thought about replacing the portraits with the actual adopt artworks (probably because I'm so used to the "old" pokedex) but that's pretty genious and makes adding new pokemon to the dex a lot easier. I'm just a bit sad for the old "custom made" portraits. Maybe they could be posted in the Great Archive thread so that they aren't lost forever?

Love the new update very much! Especially the autonaming, the possibility to move adopts on the mobile phone and the possibility to exchange Pokemon that nobody collects for points!

Out of curiosity, and I can't help but wonder...
In terms of website bloat, specifically in terms of preventing what happened last time, are the adopts actually getting deleted this time?

edit: No, they still exist in the database.
Which means eventually it'll bloat again when we hit 5 million total adopts.

It seems that every transferred pokemon is automatically tied to VA test account. Is it necessary? Because it will become an account with the most adoptables pretty soon.
But maybe yankees is planning to delete this account in the right time to avoid situation mentioned by FPCynthia

Love the new updates minus the gambling coin system really, i am not a fan of any gambling system because i am prone to addiction and it's dangerous. But the phone updates to move the virtuadopts is awesome, now it would be even cooler if we could see the gender of the pokemons during that option so that makes it easier to know which ones i should throw into trade and which ones i can keep without manually putting an m or f behind their names!

Yes! Finally I'm happy whenever I see congratz! on the screen - no matter what kind, it's always satisfying
