[GUIDE] The Great Archive

Post by KitsuLeif »

Since the big relaunch of VA 2.0, we’ve had many cool Events with old and new Promos, Monthlies and other Special Adopts being made available through various methods.
This thread is for archiving all the adopts that were once available. But just because they are listed here that doesn’t mean some of them can’t return in the future.

2022-2023

LAST UPDATED: February 1st, 2024

Congratz Promos
Spoiler for The Early Birds:
ImageImageImage

The three Legendary Birds were available from the relaunch of Virtuadopt until the Johto release on 31st of July 2022.
The returned for another visit, this time with their shiny version also available, for the whole month of July 2023.
Spoiler for Cats? Dogs? Beasts!:
ImageImageImage

The three Legendary Beasts were available from the Johto release on 31st of July 2022 until January 15, 2023 when Hoenn released, with a short break while the Paldea Starters were available, and were finally replaced by the Legendary Titans.
For the whole month of May 2023, the Beasts returned, but were ultimately replaced once more by the Legendary Titans.
Spoiler for The Titans are here:
ImageImageImage

The three Legendary Titans were available from the Hoenn release on January 15, 2023 until everyone had enough of them, and they got replaced by the Legendary Beasts again on May 1st.
They returned on June 1st, when the Beasts expired again, and left on June 30th, when the Birds became available once more.
Spoiler for Let's Shelve those Elves:
ImageImageImage

The Lake Trio was available from the release of Sinnoh on August 2, 2023 until nobody wanted to see them any more. Fortunately, Yankees heard our wish and gave us a sneaky Christmas present by replacing them on December 25 by Latias and Latios!
Well... they came back again on February 1st of 2024.
Spoiler for One Poor Kitty:
Image

This Broke Meowth has been made available in early October after the launch of the Daycare in late September 2022 which emptied players’ wallets faster than a Team Rocket Member could have ever done. Spoiler for Winter in Paldea:
ImageImageImage

The three Paldea Starters were made available on Day 2 of the Advent Calendar 2022 along with a story introducing them. They were available in regular and shiny form and just like the rest of the Christmas 2022 Promos, they expired on New Year’s Day.

ImageImage

On Valentine's Day 2023, we finally got the revelation of what happened to #1 Chansey, after it suddenly vanished from the Click Exchange and MissingNo. took its place. Turns out, they are in a happy relationship now!
They were available for a week, one half of the userbase had the chance to get MissingNo. in the Slot Machine, the other half had the chance to get Chansey, so if you wanted both, a gift exchange with other players was the only option.
