Allow bred baby Pokémon to evolve

Post by Dragonclaw »

Hi!
A user just reminded me how we were not allowed to evolve baby/breeding Pokémon, except Hitmontop (which is in the normal egg pool now, love that btw!)
That just made it impossible to breed for popular shinies like Pikachu, Marill or Lucario and you just had to hope to get one from random eggs. For people who care very much about OT, that is a little tricky.
Perhaps, in new VA could involve to let us evolve these baby Daycare-Only pokémon with a soothing bell + level up instead of forcing them being a baby forever?
Whaddaya say?

Wait, bred pokemon couldn't evolve? Baby mon too? I thought that was the whole reason behind the soothe bell? To increase friendship with said pokemon ex: cleffa and it'll evolve once it reaches the designated goal.

Bred pokemon could, just not specifically the baby pokemon (cleffa, igglybuff, pichu, etc). With the exception of tyrogue as mentioned.

Okay, that makes more sense... kinda. I still support the idea to let Baby mon evolve, but that would've been weird if a bred Psyduck could never become a Golduck. Especially since all of our VA's hatch from eggs. lol

I totally support the opportunity to make it possible for babies or any bred 'mon to evolve. From the time I used to play in the past, I remember the evo after DC was normal option (except Phione).
