I know I said I don't like medals very much at all, but that is all the more reason to at least try to do come up with something pleasing myself.

So my idea is using the letters "re" as in returned or reborn, to show they came back from the old (dead) Virtuadopt.

I am not good with making neat shapes or the perfect lettering style for it, but I tried to do something.The Lotus flower symbolizes rebirth, so I thought that could work as a symbol/medal. I hope it's not too similar to the custom adopts crowns, I don't remember exactly what they were like, but I think maybe someone more skilled could make that work still.

It could also say "re:" to make it look a bit cooler xP

I'm not a Pro xD
I have a cute design, made with paint, but it needs more (grey) pixels to make it match, and less sharp (some adjustments)

Is that okay to post it, or does it needs to be ready to use?
Or is it okay to post, and if it gets chose, that maybe a Artist can edit it, to a final design?
I've been thinking about this question a few times since you asked it, and I still don't really have an answer. On one hand, I can see where you're coming from. On the other, is that an unfair advantage, judging the concept of an idea and not what is submitted. I think it would be okay to take the concept of the idea into account if the winner is open to constructive feedback on ways to improve it for the final product. I don't want to speak for the artists and say yeah sure, they can clean up the winning entry for use as the final product. If it's just touch-up work to make it blend better or getting the transparent background, I think that's fine for us to handle. Hopefully that answers your question, but just do your best.

So I had a cute design too ^^
First I had OG in it, but it looked so weird
With my idea/ design, it looked like a Pokemon GO / Pokemon OG thing
Like if it was a typing error, haha xD

So I changed it to VA, and made a simulair new design ^^
It was based on the old Pokeball in Red/Blue/Yellow
A sweet memory of the previous gen / VA

I also made a original colours design, and simple black
For myself I like the grey one the best

I'm not a pro, totally not xD
But I would like to give this contest a try ^^

In recent Pokémon Games, there is a linking cord that replaces trade evolutions. In the early gameboy games, you also needed to trade with an actual cable (no wireless connections), so that's a nice throwback to that.

I would use this linking cord sprite to indicate Pokémon that "have been transfered over".

I used the original sprite, and one where I tried to make it a bit darker.

I would add "OG" to state "Original". But any text could work.
