Baby Pokemon
I can't seem to find the exact answer to this, but how do you breed baby Pokemon? Do the parents have to be exactly the same?

Re: Baby Pokemon
Please correct me (anyone) if I'm wrong, but the egg will always be the pokemon of the mother.
So say if you were trying to get a Smoochum. You'd have to breed a female Jynx with another pokemon from the same egg group.

Re: Baby Pokemon
The problem with that is Jynx can also hatch from an egg. So I'm not sure if that would yield a Smoochum or another Jynx.

Re: Baby Pokemon
I think breeding will always result with a baby pokemon if the mother have a baby pokemon form in its evolution line. So breeding Jynx should get you a Smoochum as breeding female Pikachu/Raichu will always give you a Pichu.

Hmm well guess I can try, I have a female Lucario and Clefairy.
I just don't want to spend all that money and get an egg I don't want, y'know?

Re: Baby Pokemon
I had the idea that to breed Tyrogue, it was to breed Hitmonlee with Ditto, but I'm getting the message "The two don't seem to like each other"
Which is the correct breed?

Re: Baby Pokemon
That is correct! "They don't seem to like each other" means they will still breed, but chances are low. And your progress on the bar in the daycare will be slower (1% per hour and 1% per 100 clicks).
"The two prefer to play with other Pokemon than each other." would mean they can't breed.
You could also use any other mon out of the Hitmon-Line with Ditto, but currently, they'll all have worst chances for an egg.
