Probably only „base“ form counts for Dex entry. I think Spinda is the same. It is a known bug.

Can confirm, it works differently now. I haven't leveled my Nincada at all, just put it in the CE, and now I have both a Ninjask and a Shedinja.

Re: Ho-Ho-Hoenn
I find it a bit strange. My first Castform was able to swap forms with a stone into Rainy Castform, but when I tried it on my second Castform to get a gendered pair of Rainy, it doesn't work. (The male worked, the female doesn't)

I think, this one still depends on the weather:FairyPrincessCynthia wrote: ↑January 16th, 2023, 9:57 am I find it a bit strange. Re: Ho-Ho-Hoenn
Yeah exactly. It's rainy, so my Normal Castform should be turning into a Rainy one. But the stone "has no effect"KitsuLeif wrote: ↑January 16th, 2023, 10:07 amI think, this one still depends on the weather:FairyPrincessCynthia wrote: ↑January 16th, 2023, 9:57 am I find it a bit strange. This is the Castform that form-shifted without incident:

This is the Castform that the stone isn't working on:

Indeed, my second Castform won't evolve either after my first took the Sunny form.
The Sunny one is also male, while the new one is female... I'm not sure if it's linked to that.

My Castform also didn't change its form.
And it's a female too...

Re: Ho-Ho-Hoenn
Apparently, we just have to level Castform now, and it will evolve depending on the weather.

Changes such as this that have a potential impact on a person's collection should be announced publicly, not hidden until people find out.

What I wonder is if this works as an "evolution" and if an everstone can stop it

Re: Ho-Ho-Hoenn
The Devolution Spray suggestion would be a pretty good solution to missBlue's unwanted Castform form change.

Oh, please. I accidentally evolved my Shiny Castform into my least favorite form. Still hoping for the spray.

Re: Ho-Ho-Hoenn
Actually, how often does the weather change on VA and when? And day and night?
Thank you. :)
Thank you. :)
