prevent mulit-accounting

My Idea to prevent mulit-accounting:

Situation: Person A (old Account) has the same IP like Person B (new Account)

Person B want to register and get the message:
"You can not register, because there is already Person A registed under the same IP.
If you want to register, Person A have to can contact a Moderator/Admin from virtuadopt. You both have to proof that you are two differtent individuals."

But what about users with a router? I believe you get a different IP every session?

Lily Audron means that you can't trace it then, or well it would be very hard.

PokeTrade, Other webpages also can do this automatically, so it should be possible.

That's what I meant.
Example: The IP changes. Today I have IP 504710575, tomorrow someone else has got the same IP but we're maybe not even in the same city.
It's hard to explain.

Sorry, it's easier said than done, won't happen - sole IP sometimes doesn't prove anything.

Lily Audron, This happens once in a lifetime or less. Its possibillity is to low to get that happen.

Like I said, many other pages having the same system, some check ip from router, some check mac adress from computer itself and some even check both. So you cant avoid it really and get known if you have the same ip. Its an automatic version of the ip-sharing thread here in the forum.

edit: stefanol, hm, thats sad. Hoped it was possible to implement.
