Bug with adoption of starter pokemon

Don't know if it's a bug but I already noticed that several newbies have at their disposal tons of starters at their first day of registration.
They adopt a lot of starters until they get a shiny starter.
Can somebody check if it's a bug or no?

I can only speek for myself. I can't adopt Starter from Kanto to Kalos but the Alola Starter are all still available for me. So I got all of them in a few Minutes. I think it is a bug. I returned to this site in spring and since them I can adopt every alola Starter as much as I wanted.

Somebody called my attention to an account that has multiple shiny starters on it, without ever breeding a single egg. Since Yankees has not answered on this bug, I have sent him a PM about this issue.

49ER, there are a lot of such newbies, I saw at least 4-5 of them. They just adopt starters till they get a shiny.

I also PMed yankees but still no answer.

I looked at Starter Corner page and it does clearly say to only take one from each region. A lot of new users are complying with that. Hopefully Yankees will do something to fix this soon.

I noticed that Starter Corner Starters are not listed as banned adopts anymore, maybe that's related :p

Before everyone searches, this is about me.

I wasn't aware that you can only take a limited number of starters, so I took some until I had a breeding pair together.
I immediately deleted the excess, for example a second male.

After a very friendly PM from a member here, who pointed this out to me, I deleted all starters.
I only kept the shiny one.

I'm sorry, but since it was possible I didn't immediately think of a bug.
