Hullo ^^
I stack my pokédex with pairs of everything for the best breeding chance. So, I was wondering, do the Alolan forms of Kanto pokémon just count as the regular Kanto for the sake of best breeding chance? Or do they count as separate, but compatible, species?
Only curious for the sake of not keeping double of all the Kanto & their alolan counterparts; instead just having 1 of each in opposite gender to show off the different forms in my dex :3 But I don't mind either way, just wanted to check.

Re: Kanto + Alolan Form Breeding Chance
In answer to my own question I guess... Alolan form pokémon cannot breed with their Kanto counterparts. Is that intentional?
I just put an Alolan Muk and Kanto Muk in for the breeding quest but it says they aren't compatible.

kanto's alolan counterparts cannot be bred because they come from a special climate so different from our own

Kk, so they can't be bred at all; even if I had two of the same. Good to know! Thank you. Means I only care about keeping 1 of each then.
