Dawndancer, the new eggs? Yes, they have a chance of hatching shiny most of the time, unless there is a 5 color thing like the driftoon/sableye a few years ago. Best thing to do is level them up in the Click Exchange to increase your chances. And I think there was minimum level for the shiny chance

How does it work when the eggs hatch and why to level them? You don't have to level them. But if you want a shiny, the chance increases when the egg has a high level. If they have only 10-20 levels, the chance for a shiny is zero, I guess. They hatched automatically. Usually in a week ok thank you
